Although things are looking pretty good on Selby, as you can see things are greening up, however we are limiting visitors to our Farm Stay for the time being, due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Each booking will be individually assessed as special criteria must
be met before your visit will be approved. This means each enquiry must speak with Andrea! We apologise for any inconvenience we put on your travel plans and are endeavouring to keep you updated via this site as much as we can. There is a lot of history on Selby to immerse yourself in
Ron and Andrea Finch would like to introduce you to Selby, their Organic farm in the Riverina region, near the small town of Rankins Springs, 75 kms from Griffith. We are just 5 minutes off the Mid Western Highway, easy all weather access, the perfect refuge on your travels.
Nestled in a valley of the Cocopaira Ranges, Selby is based amongst the rolling hills and an extensive cypress pine range. Enjoy peaceful walks, go for a picnic or a bike ride, feed a lamb or simply enjoy the peace and quiet on the porch with a bottle of wine or a cuppa. In the evenings gaze at the stars in the clear night sky by the glow of the campfire.
In our shearers’ quarters, The Shack, you will find everything you need for a true country getaway. (On arrival there will even be a bit of home cooking for afternoon tea for you to enjoy, a treat from Andrea!)
The main room has a comfortable double bed, fully equipped kitchen & dining area with a cosy open fire place for cooler winter evenings. (however, if the inside fire isn't open, there is the campfire out side ready for you to enjoy)
The second bedroom can accommodate a further two people.
It is suggested you bring your food & drink with you, The Shack will have basic tea & coffee etc, oil, milk, organic eggs when the chooks are laying as Griffith is an hour away & the local shop hours are handy during the week, but are not open over the weekend. The local pub is open Wednesday to Sunday & has a kitchen 'The Triple D Diner' that does a lovely put meal most nights.....more info when we see you.
